Warning Description: Special Weather Statement

Warning Date: 2:24 PM EDT on September 2, 2010

WarningSum:...Increased Fire Danger Friday Across Central North Carolina...

Warning Message:The combination of hot temperatures...breezy westerly winds and
minimum humidity values between 20 and 30 percent will increase
the threat for rapid or erratic fire growth across central North
Carolina Friday.
Outdoor burning is strongly discouraged. If any type of burning is
conducted on Friday...extreme caution should be exercised. Everyone
should take steps to prevent brush or grass fires by properly
extinguishing smoking materials.
