Hello, my name is Marie Beckman and I have been researching my own family history for about 13 yrs now. I live in Hanceville Alabama about two minutes away from Wallace State College, whose library has one of the best Genealogy Collections for research in the Southeastern US. I have also spent many hours doing volunteer research and lookups over the past few yrs. I also have designed my own webpages to display my research.

• Since 2000 I have volunteered my time as an administrator for 30+ Genealogy related mailing lists and boards hosted by Rootsweb.
• I am also a founder of the Genealogy Chat Friends and the Middle TN Genealogy Research Groups which are currently hosted at Yahoo!.
• I maintain the webpages for Gen Chat Friends' Library.
