Preamble for GA SSB Net |
Good evening ladies and gentlemen, this is <callsign> calling the Georgia Single Sideband Net for this <day of week> night session. My name is <operator> and my location is <QTH>.
The Georgia Single Sideband Net is a function of the Georgia Single Sideband Association and meets nightly on or about 3.975 MHz at 7:00PM Eastern time.
The purpose of the Net is to be the voice of the Association, to handle traffic, to improve the operating practices and to promote fellowship and good will among all amateur radio operators.
This is a directed net. Please direct all comments through Net Control.
Do we have any emergency or priority traffic?
Do we have a GSN or 4RN representative on frequency?
Do we have any traffic needing GSN or 4RN?
Do we have any liaisons from other nets?
Do we have any mobiles?
Do we have any announcements for the Net?
Do we have any routine/formal traffic?
Roll call follows. We ask that you do not break the roll unless you have traffic or an emergency.

I would like to thank you for your participation in this Net. You do not have to be a member of the Georgia Single Sideband Association to participate in this Net. We do, however, invite you to join the Association. Dues are only $3.00 yearly and you may contact any Net Control for an application, or you may go to www.gassb.com to download an application.
