CQ CQ CQ this is the Newton County Amateur Radio Emergency Service and Skywarn Net. 
This net is open to all Amateur Radio Operators interested in the ARES/Skywarn program and 
Emergency Communications. You do not have to be a member of ARES to participate in this net. 
If you would like to become a member of ARES please give this information to the Net Control 
when checking in. 

The purposes of this net are the promotion of the ARES/SkyWarn Program in Newton County, 
and the preparation and training for Emergency Communications associated with a disaster or 
other emergency situation.
