I     Article the fourth [Amendment II]     A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.                                                                                                                                                               
      - I believe that I have a God-given right to be be armed, without apology or explanation.

II     On my honor, I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country, to obey the Scout Law, to help other people at all times,  and to keep myself physically fit, mentally awake, and morally straight.

      - I believe that Scouting and the patrol method prepare young men to be good citizens and leaders for our country.

III     Jesus replied " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.'  This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'  All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."  Matthew 22:37-40 (NIV)

      - I believe that Jesus Christ died for my sins, and that I should try hard to remember his words.

IV     When normal communication systems are overloaded, damaged, or disrupted because a disaster has occurred. . . an amateur station may make transmissions necessary to meet essential communication needs and facilitate relief actions. FCC Rules §97.401

      - I believe that the Amateur Radio Service is a valuable asset to our country, especially in times of emergency, and that radios can be a lot of fun!  I hold an Amateur Extra Class amateur radio license.
