******** TB Designs was hatched from ideas. Most of these ideas came during my 2002 thru hike of the Appalachian Trail (AT) With lots of time to hike came lots of time to think. I started thinking about gear and how to make it better. The ideas I came up with were simple, uncomplicated and functional. While the designs have evolved from their AT originals, they retain their simple designs that work. We are located just outside of the Great Smokey Mountain National Parkand Pisgah National Forest in Western North Carolina. All of our prototypes and designs are tested here.
