September 2 Tissue's and Tea - Kindergarten parents & grandparents held in media center (library) 8:30 - 9:45am

September 4 Meet & Munch @ 5:30 (Board Meeting) You will hear the phrase M&M used often this year, as the Powell PTA has adopted the acronym to represent our meetings this school year. We invite you to our first M&M session where we will meet and munch. All families are invited to join us in the Media Center on Thursday, September 4th from 5:30 - 7:00pm. A light dinner will be served. A movie will be shown in the lobby for the children. Yes, you can expect the candy version of M&Ms for all to share. The PTA has scheduled M&Ms (meetings and munch) times for families to participate in the school and the PTA. September 11 Open House / General Body Meeting 6:30pm / Entertainment Book Funds ends All parents and guardians are invited to attend Open House on Thursday, September 11. A brief introduction session will begin promptly at 6pm, so as to allow ample time for parents to move through the different classrooms. A very brief PTA Membership Meeting will be held during the introduction session. PTA members are encouraged to attend as the budget for the 2008-2009 year will be presented for a vote. September 25 WCPSS county-wide Early Release Day **School dismisses at 12:30pm** Buses will deliver students to bus stops approximately  3 hours earlier than normal stop times.
