I ain't tellin'

Just kidding. I'm a gamer, though not not by trade (alas). I've been playing RPGs for the last 20 years or so and have been playing miniatures wargames about six years. I started out with D&D, and have run V&V, Champions, Boot Hill (1st edition), Traveller, Chill (1st edition), Call of Cthulhu, Gamma World and probably a couple of others that have slipped my mind. For the past couple of years I've been content to mostly leave the GMing to others and just play Deadlands. In miniatures wargaming, I started out with Warhammer Fantasy (High Elves) and went into 40K, where I played Space Marines (Iron Hands chapter), Chaos, Imperial Guard and my beloved Genestealer Cult. I finally got absolutely disgustipated with GW, and switched to other games (anybody want to buy a fully painted Marine army?). My current games are Rail Wars (Bayou Vermillion, Wasatch and Union Blue), Warzone (Cybertronic, Dark Legion - Ilian and now Imperial!), Chronopia (Elven House of the Crystal Lotus). VOR was looking like a possible addition to my games, but I've been thinking about getting back into OGRE, since Steve Jackson Games is releasing the miniatures again (I have the pocket game version; haven't played in years, but a metal Mk VI is sooo tempting *drool*...).

As far as other interests go: I draw, do the occasional mini-comic, write short stories (sometimes), paint miniatures, build terrain for wargames, program in GWBASIC (yeah, so it's an old language, sue me) and fiddle with my computers. I've added a page on them; you can find a link to your left.

Actually, I guess I haven't told you too much about me. What do you expect? This isn't the Biography website!
