Tag-Team Tournament
This Friday night eight
teams will compete with the common goal of leaving The Stadium
Inn as the new USWO Tag-Team Champions. At this point most
folks would have to think that the odds on favorite to win the
tournament would be The Naturals, the team composed of the
current USWO Heavyweight Champion Chase Stevens and his long
time tag-team partner Andy Douglas. Lately however the team of
Chris Michaels and Shawn Shultz has emerged as being very
competitive and they also could quite possibly leave with the
titles. Another team that has shown some success lately is Jay
Phoenix and the current Television Champion Mike Jablonski.
This team has been very successful as of late under the
management of Quinton Quarisma. Then there is the newly formed
team of TJ Harley and Larry Valentine who will be making an
appearance in the tournament. Valentine is a former TV Champion
and Tag-Team Champion and Harley has shown that he has all the
necessary skills to be very successful in the USWO. Only time
will tell who the new USWO Tag-Team Champions will be.
Lynn & Andrews Challenge
Jablonski
It was two weeks ago when "The Polish Punisher" Mike Jablonski
defeated Arrick "The Dragon" Andrews to capture the USWO
Television Title. Last week he defended the title successfully
against Andrews in a hard fought battle that ended with a
disqualification. In December Jerry Lynn made his debut in the
USWO in a match to challenge for this same title. This past
week he made it clear that he still desires a shot at the title
and the match has been made for this Friday night. Jerry Lynn
will enter the ring with Andrews and Jablonski both for a 3-way
dance for the title. This is a match that should prove quite
interesting and could be a huge stepping stone for Andrews or
Jablonski either one if they can pin Lynn to take home the
belt.
