Covenant Children's Home Construction

In 2003, the Lord worked in a mighty way. He put the funds together and helped us acquire an expansion of the home to help save the lives of more orphans here in Manipur.

This is a new wing of Covenant Children's Home building. The construction was funded by the government of India and by Presbyterian Ministries International. It is mainly used as the administrative building and serves as the on campus residential quarter of the director. The building was inaugurated and occupied in July 2003.

August 11, 2003:

Oh! magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together. Oh! Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who trusts in Him! Oh! Fear the Lord, you His saints! There is no want to those who fear Him. The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry (Psalm 34:3,8,9,15).

It is a joy as to see all that the Lord has done! We praise His name.

This is the electric transformer that we’ve been talking about all this time. We now enjoy regular power supply every other day compared to before where we only had power once or twice a week. This enables us to save extra expenses on gas to run the generators, and we are also able to get more work done smoothly.

October 2003:

The second phase construction of Covenant Children’s Home is progressing.

Second phase completed in January 2004.
