Orphans  Sponsors Needed  Sponsoring Guidelines  

Our ministry of care and support to orphans at Covenant Children's Home was started in 2002 with 14 orphans.  This number has increase to 490 orphans and we have more than 400 children on the waiting list.  The insurgency problems, drug use and accompanying HIV/AIDS have taken many parents our of our society.  Orphans result from these social problems.  Now you can be part of eliminating these social evils by supporting one of the orphans with $40 per month or $480 per year.  Your support will provide shelter, food, clothing, education, medical care and emotional and spiritual upbringing of the child.

How do we take care of so many orphans?

1. Orphans without father and mother and has no place to stay at all: They live at Covenant Children's Home
2. Orphans without father and mother but has distant relatives to live with, we have the family as their Foster Home and Covenant Children's Home helps them. 
3. Orphans with their mother still alive live with their mother and Covenant Children's Home helps them with those items listed above.

Testimony of a Hindu boy: Kishan Singh

One dreadful night in 2006 the sound of a crying baby was heard by passers-by, who discovered that is was the sound of a little 3 year old boy named Kishan Singh.  He had been abandoned by his parents in a drainage ditch.  His mother left him and remarried, and his father was a drunkard and was near death.  The passers-by picked up Kishan and brought him to Covenant Children's Home.  Kishan lived at Covenant Children's Home for 6 years and is now 9 years old.  He is a believer now, and enjoys schooling and is growing as happy boy.
