Orphan Sponsorship
Thanks for sponsoring a child from Covenant Children's Home in Manipur, India. And as you have chosen a child to support, the following information may be helpful to you:
I. How will my sponsorship help change this child’s life?
The child you sponsor is an orphan who lost his or her parents or his or her father due to civil war, terrorism, drugs, and HIV/AIDS. Without your support the child would not go to school but roam in the street stealing, doing drugs and prostitution. Your sponsorship now enabled the child to live in a home, have food and clothing, receive regular medical care, go to school; and above all believe in Jesus Christ. After completing his or her High School Degree or Class XII, and after staying with us till he or she is 20 years old; the child will leave the Home as a mature and self-reliant citizen, who would make his or her own living with the fear of the Lord. Is this not amazing?
II. Will PMI deduct part of my sponsor fund for administrative cost?
No, PMI will not deduct anything out of your sponsor money. The Board of Directors Of PMI comprised of the teaching and non-teaching faculty of Covenant Theological Seminary. As all of them are volunteers, they need no administrative cost. All your sponsor funds will be benefited by the orphan.
III. Where do I send the sponsor money?
Please make the check payable to PMI and send it to:

For instance, if you chose an orphan who is in Grade I – it means that you need to support the child till Class XII or 12 years; and if you chose an orphan who is in Grade VII – you have to support the child till Class XII or 6 years.
And if you have to stop your child sponsorship due to illness, lost of job, etc. please let us know so that we may fine a sponsor for the orphans you are sponsoring. If and when the orphan you have supports graduated and leave the orphanage to support themselves and to find their own livelihood, you may choose another orphan to support, if you are still willing and able.
