The need of a school bus is real and urgent, and we need to buy one as soon as the Lord provide.
Because: 1.
We have 50 home-based orphans who have to walk hours daily since they stay in
distant villages. 2.
We are experiencing the monsoon season now and it is challenging for those 50
home-based orphans to walk to and from the school in the rain everyday. 3.
If we had a school bus:
(a)
The students at Covenant School will be able to go for educational tour to
nearby important historical sites, and other places of importance. Thus,
all those 610 students at the school will benefit from it.
(b) the
orphans will be able to visit supporting churches in Manipur every Sunday and
update them and encourage them to support us more prayerfully and financially.
Thus, all the 350 orphans will benefit from it. 4. Our church can use the bus for retreats, camping, and conferences. Thus, the bus will be of medium size accommodating 35 adults or 50 children.
