In Kind Donation

Our Muddy Waters Restaurant & Raw Bar Fundraiser was held September 26, 2007. Friends from the Hillsboro Inlet Sailing Club, the Woman's Club of Deerfield Beach, and Kiwinis Club of Deerfield Beach and other friends braved the rain to come out and help make the evening a fun and successful time. Thanks to Frank & Judy Tippett and Sully & Lorrene Sullivan for organizing the event and securing and selling the many great raffle items. Dave Gavelle representing the Kiwanis Club of Deerfield Beach, Barbara Moriarty of the Woman's Club of Deerfield Beach, and Pati Ryder of the Lighthouse Points Woman's Club also gave a hand selling raffle. The Woman's Club of Deerfield Beach held a raffle at their September meeting.

Hillsboro Inlet Sailing Club members, Sully & Lorrene Sullivan, and Frank & Judy Tippett, for organizing the Celebrity Bar Tending Fundraiser at Bonefish Mac's. Sully did a great job securing the many wonderful raffle items. Our Celebrity Bartender Night was a blast and a great success because of all of you! Thank you, Tim Leonard and Hal Steward, the most handsome bartenders in the bar, for serving drinks in my behalf. You guys did a great job. Bill Oppold, you did a fantastic job selling all those raffle tickets. You’re hired! Bill and Jan Shomo for providing Dunkin Donut gift certificates, and watching over the proceeds. Maureen Leonard, Julie Tice and Mary Steward, you all did a yeoman’s job circulating the raffle tickets and explaining the prizes to all. Brenda Duvall, you did a spectacular job selling my earrings – you made them a hit, Brenda, and all the ladies wearing them! Maybe we should go into business together. Pati Ryder, with your dollar sign glasses, you did an awesome job selling the 50/50 tickets and brought a laugh to us all. Big hugs and kisses to Mark & Marnie Havlik for donating their 50/50 winnings back. WOW!

Thank you to my friends and family who came out to enjoy the evening and show their support. Present were members from the Hillsboro Inlet Sailing Club, the Pompano Beach Power Squadron, the Woman's Club of Deerfield Beach, and the Woman's Club of Lighthouse Point, Deerfield Beach ROC, members of the Deerfield Beach Chamber of Commerce, and the Observer’s Ric Green was present taking pictures.
