My e-mail
address has changed. Unfortunately,
webcrawlers have “harvested” my e-mail address from my website, and as a
result, I receive 50-100 SPAM messages per day. Thus, if you send an e-mail to my old address, it will
likely be lost in all the SPAM.
If you would

name hotmail.com, inserting the “@” sign between robertplattbell and
hotmail.com
You will note I
have not typed out the e-mail address here. Webcrawlers used by SPAMmers can “harvest” e-mail addresses
from websites. Once harvested, an
e-mail address can be sold to thousands of SPAMmers who in turn will send out
hundreds of e-mails per day to my address.
IMPORTANT: Please put the word “Patent” in the
subject line if you send an e-mail.
This will allow me to clearly identify that your e-mail is not a SPAM
message. Thank you.
The SPAM issue,
like telemarketing and Junk Fax, threatens to destroy the very
telecommunications infrastructure we have created. Be sure to let your Congressman and/or local representative
know how you feel about these issues.
Remember, telemarketers and SPAMmers make hefty contributions to
political campaigns.

anyone, as it is less expensive that using a fax machine, and your faxes can be
retrieved anywhere in the world in .pdf format by e-mail or website. Note that in the U.S. it is an
actionable tort to send unsolicited fax messages (FAX SPAM) to a fax
machine. I have sued offenders in
the past and have collected damages.

and letters, and moreover, usually will not leave parcels or letters if someone
is not available to sign for them.
It is disruptive to our practice to have to drive to a UPS or FEDEX hub
to retrieve packages, and we will refuse to do so. If you need to send something overnight, use the U.S. Post
Office’s EXPRESS MAIL service.
USPS is cheaper and often provides better service than the independent
carriers. I strongly suggest using
USPS PRIORITY MAIL, as a very inexpensive alternative to FEDEX or UPS services.
