The Knights of Columbus, since its inception in 1882, has involved
itself in matters of family needs, the Church, and the community as a whole.
At that genesis, there were only 3 Degrees of membership; charity,
unity, and fraternity took center stage. Later, on
February 22, 1900, the Knights of Columbus added another degree on Patriotism that is today
held within the hearts of each Knight.
Many years have come and gone since that last Exemplification of
the 4th Degree, and through each year, each Knight has had the
honor to aid his brothers and sisters on a consistent time-line.
Albeit consistency has culminated into 125 years of service, new
membership has somewhat rendered itself marginal at best.
The Knights are seeking new membership for Council 10327, and
would welcome any Catholic gentleman to begin his 1st Degree.
The rewards are countless and what you can do for your community does
not have to be in a monetary sense, although donations are accepted.
The handicapped, the poor, the rich - all are worthy and treated
fairly. We are not affiliated with
any Masonic organization.
Knights of Columbus visibility is all around the community.
We sponsor many groups and work hand-in-hand with people in need.
But unless membership increases - we will “miss the water” as the well
will indeed run dry.
Interested parties should ask themselves: how will my elderly
parents, while living in assisted living centers, get to and from the Church?
How will I afford to build that wheelchair ramp I cannot afford to
construct? Who will spearhead MR Drives should the Council
dwindle in membership?
The list goes on and on. Click here to read
Knights of Columbus
Community Strides Worthy of Mention.
Council 10327 is beseeching any Catholic
men 18 years and older to consider joining this most respected
organization of charitable men and their wives who eventually are dubbed “Her
Lady.”
The success of this membership drive will ultimately route the
future of our Church family and its need to aid charitable causes.
I urge all men in our Church to step up to the plate and fill in the
information below. You never know, gentlemen, your own
families may need the service of charity one day - you would certainly feel
proud in knowing you are part of a team that addresses such issues.
