Woodville was once the county seat of Decatur
County. Decatur County was created in 1821 and was abolished in 1825. The boundaries were the Flint River to the west,
Tennessee state line to the north, Roseberry Creek in Scottsboro to the east, and
Tennessee River to the south. |
