Hi, I'm the Juice
|
| I bet you are wondering how I became the
Juice? It's not too hard to figure out really. It all started
when my parents named me Oliver J. Pratt. As you can see, all
my friends had to do was take the two initials of my first and
second name and I became O. J. Pratt. That is all there is to
it, and now here I sit with the names O. J., Juice, The Juice
and my real name which is Oliver Joseph Pratt. I just wanted to
introduce myself, and tell you just a little about myself and
my job history. As
you will see I didn't like to move around from job to
job.
I graduated from Erath High School in 1961 and went directly to work for McIlhenny Company in Avery Island, La., where I had previously worked during my summer vacations from school. They are better known as the makers of Tabasco hot pepper sauce. I was there from 1961 until 1964. In 1964 I went to work for Diamond
Crystal Salt Co. in Jefferson Island, La. as the Assistant Mine
Engineer down in the salt mine. I worked for them
until 1970 and then I decided I would do what I always wanted
to do since I was real young, which was selling
automobiles. I always had that desire to sell automobiles. I still enjoy helping someone in any way possible to acquire the automobile of their dream, and making it as pleasant an experience as possible. I am now retired and I just do this as a pastime. I would just like to leave you a little information on how you can get a hold of me if you ever need help in acquiring a vehicle, whether it be new or used. I am not on any sort of commission or pay plan so don't think I'm doing this for the money, I just enjoy doing it. It is also a great way to say Thank You to a great company, which has given myself and many others, a way to make a living since 1969 when Mr. J. P. Thibodeaux founded the company, an that company is still going strong today in 2007. If you should decide to let me help you, you might just make me happy by letting me do what I enjoying doing, and I might just make you happy by having the best experience you ever had purchasing and automobile. THANK YOU! Remember:
