Sharon Baptist Church Awana Adopt-A-Club

Last year the Sharon Baptist Awana Ministry has adopted a club in Brazil and a club in Russia.

The boys and girls donated money to give to these 2 clubs. The money collected goes to start or maintain and grow current Awana clubs in those countries. It is through the Awana programs in these countries that impact not only the children’s lives but draw in the parents and the family as a whole in developing and growing a relationship with Christ. Sharon Baptist Awana had a contest between the girls and the boys where the team that donated the most money would get a movie night in the gym with refreshments. The contest was so close that both team (boys and girls) won the Movie Night. With the donations given we were able to send $240 to each adopted club. Excellent job clubbers!!
