Over 50 people came out to enjoy a perfect day of kayaking. Two groups kayaked in the morning and afternoon and ate lunch together while learning about the North Florida Land Trust initiatives. The North Florida Land Trust had a full boat load for a dinner cruise up the St. Johns River on another perfect evening. Over 180 people were entertained by historic reinactors who shared tidbits of the wonderful history of the Jacksonville era. |

While watching out for alligators as mating season was just around the corner, a group of dedicated, experienced kayakers had a relaxing paddle through the Goelz Preserve in Ponte Vedra Beach. It was hard to believe that there were roads on both sides of the preserve as all you saw and heard was the natural environment. When the fall months arrive, we'll be scheduling tours again.
