The local ABC affiliate, WLOS, has "the most advanced and precise forecasts in the Carolinas". Accurate and dependable? Actually, they are usually way off base on all the rainfall or snowfall amounts, and their five-day forecasts could be better predicted by drawing numbers from a hat and matching the number to a list of possible weather conditions. They are plagued with technical problems, and I typically have more questions after a news report than before their announcement. Check out their web site from the main page ticker.
