Getting started on the huge living room floor...

This is part of the floor where the aquarium use to sit, glad I got rid of it!

Oh, that nasty carpet has got to go!

We used expanding foam insulation to fill the crack where the house was put together

And the rest of the floor where the aquarium used to sit, that part has got to be replaced before we can move on

It sure is looking good so far...

This is it for today. We will do more tomorrow and probably for many weekends to come. This is a huge task for us both with our medical problems...

On to day two...December 31, 2008

Measure twice, cut once...	We had to add some 2 x 4's to the existing floor joists to have something to attach the new plywood floor to	Got that done...	It's ready for the plywood...	I had to shim it up a little so I used old sticky tiles...	Dang it looks good to me!
	One wall is done except for the baseboard which will be another time...	The toy corner is done too!		Big Baby seems to like the new floor too!	Well, we finished another day. We bought two stores out of flooring and ran out of money so the rest will have to wait till another weekend...

Day three or whatever...January 3, 2009 We decided to have a little fun while waiting on Janice to get back with more planks...

Gettin that football!	Licking the football...		I heard a rustling in the bushes and went to investigate...I found Mufasa...		Resee says he is "driving"

				Oh...the shelf is back in it's place...	Getting so close!	Buh may still like the carpet...
		James	Thank goodness another day is done. It has been a hard one with the grandkids here but we made it through. Savannah now has some medical problems we have to get through so please say a prayer for her as I love her dearly. She returns to the doctor on Monday so we'll wait till then... More work on the floor tomorrow.
