Flea Market Finds - Furniture March 2009

I found these items at a flea market and saw the potential in them both.  The desk has stickers all over the top stuck to the leather, we used mayonnaise to get them off and the top turned out so beautiful.  I bought the desk because the edging around the top reminds me of dad's old desk.  I bought the table because it reminds me of the table mom had in the foyer.  The desk is complete now and it will take me some time on the table because I cannot stand very long due to my foot.  I found the lamp at a little antique store and had to have it for the desk, it's beautiful and I thought the lamp was perfect for it.
