Note: Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) is turned on within Windows on the Thinkpad, sharing the already established wireless Internet connection via the ethernet port also installed in the laptop.
The PMBWG3 is then able to access the Internet by having its router setting
(within the Network control panel in System Preferences) set to 192.168.1.3.

Again, the wireless IP address is dynamically assigned via DHCP from the router, where as the second network adapter on the Thinkpad (ethernet) has its IP address assigned manually (only the IP address and subnet mask - 255.255.255.0 - are specified within TCP/IP properties in Windows).
