MONTHLY REPORT

SEPTEMBER 2008

In this month we worked to strengthen:

1.           The get-togethers among the members.  We had the get-together for this month. We are beginning to celebrate all the brethren that have birthdays in this month. In this month the following people celebrated a birthday:  Sister Mauricia, Cesar, Adasa and Yaresy.

2.           Offering correctly; We have been having a study all this month in reference to the offering.

3.           The construction; the men have been dedicating ourselves to construction work and the women taking care of the general cleaning of the building.

4.           The attendance in the reunions; We are dedicating ourselves to visiting the brethren and encouraging them to attend each of the activities that we have.  A document was written that specifies each of the activites and the goals and a study is given about the importance of attending.

5.           Singing; We are meeting for song classes Saturdays.  Half an hour we study a song in English and half an hour we study a song in Spanish.

6.           Studies; We continue studying with Ruth and with Sarai (granddaughters of sister Carmen), with Isamar and Karina, Mrs. Lourdes, Francisco. We began to study with Carlos and Raúl, sons of Sister Mauricia. Themes reference the plan of salvation; Each of these people has learned of baptism. We pray to God that soon they will decide to be baptized.

We continue studying with Víctor, Tania, Magdalena, Fina, Otilia, patricia, Francisca and Elsa. Thanks for God Sisters Elsa, Fina and Francisca have been attending the reunions, especially on  Sunday.

7.           The Men; The reunions now are more touching, now that each of men participates in presiding, preaching, and leading a hymn, it encourages us a lot.  Before beginning the reunion Sunday mornings the men meet together a say a prayer that God will guide us.

8.           The children and teenagers; We began to have classes for the children and teenagers, every Tuesday at 8:00 pm – in this month the attendance has been down.

Ileana gave the class to the children Sunday morning and Esther Sunday afternoon.

9.           Personal study; I continue to study each of the themes that I am sharing.

10.       The bulletin; Each week we have a bulletin to hand out that announces the participation of the men, a study prepared by me, the address of the building, and the days and hours of the reunions, and the announcements.

The goal of the bulletin is that each of the brethren know all that is going on in the congregation, that they gain more knowledge through the studies that are in the bulletin.

Thanks to God we continue working for Him.

Thanks to God the congregation is growing not only in number but in knowledge.

Many thanks Brethren for your effort and dedication to the work of God in Escobedo.

May God bless you always.
