REPORTS

SEPTEMBER - DECEMBER 2007

During these four months we continued working on:

  1. Visiting the people who have made contact through the radio program and studying for a few minutes with each one of them.  Thanks to God, Sister Patricia and Brother Thomas – who we know through the radio program – have now been baptized.  At this time we are visiting 29 people who we invite to study and to attend the services at the building.
  2. Visiting with the members, fellowshipping with them, and helping them with Bible topics.
  3. Evangelizing around the building.  Giving out literature and inviting people to the services at the building.
  4. Preparing myself for each of the topics that I present in the building and in the homes.  We are now studying the topic “The mission of the Church” on Sunday mornings.  On Tuesdays and Thursdays we are studying the first letter to the Corinthians.  In the home meetings we continue teaching hymns and studying topics concerning family relations.
  5. Helping the teens who attend the services by having different activities and studying with them about the plan of salvation.
  6. Organizing and having classes and crafts with the children who live around the building.
  7. Helping the Sisters prepare classes for the children who attend on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.

Thanks to God that during this year we have been greatly blessed.  We have now been able have some of the children who live near the building attend the services to receive their respective bible classes.  At first, the children would attend for the gift that they would get at the end of the classes, but now they attend because they want to learn and they don’t care if there are gifts or not.

We have been able to have Sister Carmen and her granddaughter Eunice in the church.  They are both baptized, but they had not attended for a long time.

We have been able to stabilize the congregation.  As I wrote at the beginning of the year, the congregation was very disconcerted or sad because some families had left.  This caused some to become discouraged and they didn’t want to work.  However, thanks to God, that at the end of the year everything is very different and the congregation is in peace and harmony.

Thank you very much Brothers for taking the time to read this report.

We continue to ask for your prayers that God will permit us to continue working for his church.

Thank you very much for the help that you give us.

May God bless you always.
