October 2005

Evangelism

Thanks to God, Brother Homero continues leading the evangelism Sundays every 15 days. Through yesterday, we have visited 200 homes and have found 10 people interested – these people we are visiting every week with the goal of studying in their homes. We are trying in each home that we visit to talk to the person and not only hand them a brochure as is normally done. It is for that reason that we only have that number of homes that we have visited.

Herlinda Marques, Elda Juárez, Gloria Isabel, Yaneth, Samira Sara, Laura angélica, Martha, Lourdes, and Felicitas.

Studies

Thanks to God, we continue with the studies mentioned in the previous report, and we are studying with

Patricia Hernández. We are also studying with Sister Magdalena.

Reunions

We continue having reunions Tuesdays at 6:00 pm studying the book of Acts and Thursdays at 8:00 studying the book of Proverbs. The Sunday reunions continue at 10:00 am and 3:00 pm.

Home Reunion

The home reunion was in the house of Brother Homero and his family. In these meetings, we are studying hymns, from the tone of voice that one should sing each hymn to how to mark the times of each note of the hymns.

Fellowship

In this month we celebrated the birthday of Sister Thomy and Sister Maria Elena (daughter of Sister Conchita). Every Sunday we are staying to eat in the building and have our fellowship until the afternoon reunion begins.

Visitation

We continue visiting each of the families of the congregation.

Personal Study

We continue preparing ourselves in each one of the themes for the congregation and the people and Brothers that we are studying with.

Construction

Thanks to God and the strength of Brother Manuel, Homero and Cesar, we finished sealing, finishing, and painting all the walls of the building’s interior – also, able to finish 90% of the roof, lacking only a small part.

Women

Thanks to the strength and preparation of each sister, the bi-monthly women’s reunion took place in the building. The sisters of the congregation were the hosts of this reunion in which 150 women attended.

Results

Due to the evangelism, the congregation is more excited – before we only handed out literature and now we are committed to talking with the people.

Due to the fellowships, the congregation has gained more trust among each other.

In the construction, we were able to finish all the interior of the building pending only the exterior metal protection.

In Song, we have improved our form of singing, and in some hymns we are singing following the hand notation of the Brother that is leading the hymn.
