MONTHLY REPORT
MARCH 2007
SERVICES
- Thanks to God, we continue having services
on Sundays at 10am and 2pm, Tuesdays at 6pm and 8pm, and Thursdays at 8pm.
- We continue having meetings in the homes with
music classes and a short lesson given by one of the members.
- On Sundays at 10am we are studying about
suffering. The purpose of this is
so that the brethren understand that suffering for Christ brings us to
eternal joy and suffering for our sins brings us to condemnation.
- At the time of preaching in the morning
and in the evening, the men take turns preaching. The purpose of this is to be responsible
and to be prepared for a government in the church.
- On Tuesdays at 6pm the women are meeting
by themselves and they are studying topics related to women and their roll
in the church. The purpose of this
is to reach the point that the Sisters feel useful and take their
responsibility in the Church.
- On Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8pm we are
studying the book of Acts. The
purpose of this is to learn about the start of the Church and the growth
of the Church in
order to be able to apply it in our time.
PERSONAL STUDY
- We continue preparing ourselves for each
of the topics that we have to present to the congregation and the people
who we are visiting and studying with.
STUDYING AND
VISITATION
- We continue visiting the members with the
purpose of achieving a wider friendship and in that way be
more comfortable in the work of the church.
- We continue studying with our Sister
Patricia, and we have now started to study with her daughter. We are studying with Karina and Isamar, and we are visiting with 23 people who have
been contacted through evangelism and the radio program. We are looking to have a study with each
one of them. We ask for your prayers
in order to have a good result from this work.
TEENS
- We continue working in order to have more
teens. We are planning to have an
activity at the building next May.
WOMEN
- The sisters continue with their work of
teaching the children’s classes and at the end of each month they present
a craft and a song to the congregation.
RESULTS
- Thanks to God, the brethren are helping
very strongly with each of the activities.
- We are very happy that the congregation is
active and enthusiastic since the first part of the year was a little
difficult for us as Brother Homero and his
family left the congregation in order to meet with a congregation closer
to their house. Brother Juan Ángel and his family also left the church in order to
meet with another congregation as his daughters wanted to be closer to their
boyfriends. Thanks to God, the
brethren are still in the church, but it was very difficult for us to
accept their decisions.
Thank
you Brothers for your help in the work in Escobedo.
May God bless you always.
