JULY 2008 MONTHLY REPORT

During this month, work was done in the preparation and the execution of the VBS's.  Thanks to God and the great efforts of the brethren of Hardin Valley and of Old Hickory, everything went very well.  The attendance was approximately 50 to 80 children per day.

Also, construction work was done.  From the first of the month, we have been preparing for the groups to arrive to Escobedo.  Hardin Valley and Old Hickory did some excellent work.  It was very exciting to work with each of the children, adults and teenagers.

The church has been preparing for this activity and thanks to God, the women were always ready with the preparation of the meals (this is the first time that all of the sisters were ready in the kitchen).  Some of the men helped by working on the construction.

These activities have opened a great opportunity to visit the mothers of the children and at the same time continue encouraging more children to attend our activities.

We continue with the services in the building.

Sunday:                       10:00AM to 11:00AM -- Study:  "Planning success in the Church"

                                    11:00AM to 12:00PM -- Preaching: Various Subjects

                                    2:00PM to 3:00PM -- Meditation:  Various Subjects

Tuesday:                     8:00PM to 9:00PM -- English Classes

Wednesday:               6:00PM to 7:00PM -- Study:  "The glory and the agony of the Cross"

Thursday:                    8:00PM to 9:00PM -- Study:  "A true Christian"

Each of the studies is prepared with the purpose of strengthening each of the members and in this way achieve that everyone involves themselves in each of the activities of the congregation.

We continue visiting the members and the people with whom we have studies in their homes.  We pray to God that we will very soon have the blessing of baptisms.

Thanks to God and the great efforts of those who participate in this work so that the church in Escobedo continues forward and continues to be strengthened in the Lord.

We always pray to God that he protects and helps his Church in the entire world.
