MONTHLY REPORT 02

FEBRUARY 2005

EVANGELISM

Evangelism took place every Tuesday and every other Sunday.  The people who have been contacted were visited in order to have a bible study with them.

STUDIES

The studies continue with Sister Magdalena and her husband Eduardo, with Sister Verónica and her husband, and with Sister Francisca.

A study has been started with Sister Martha Cruz.

The study continues with Mrs. Maria.

MEETINGS

The meetings during the week continue on Tuesdays at 6:00pm and on Thursdays at 8:00pm.

During this month, we did not have home meetings as we were attending campaigns which were taking place in congregations in the area.

PERSONAL STUDY

Thanks to God and your great help, I continue preparing myself with topics for each of the meetings in the building, each of the studies with people in their homes, and for my personal learning.

FELLOWSHIP

The monthly fellowship meal took place the first Sunday of the month and all fellowshipped together.

VISITATION

The families of the congregation were visited in order to continue with the good relationship among the members.

CAMPAIGNS

Thanks to God, we had our campaign in the building in which we had great success.  People which whom we have been studying visited the campaign along with many brethren from other congregations.  We also attended campaigns in the Cero de la Silla and Villa Juárez congregations who also had campaigns this month.

CONSTRUCTION

Construction work continues and this month work took place on the wiring of the rooms including installation of electrical outlets, electrical switches, lights, and a new ceiling.

BENEVOLENCE

We continue to collect staple items and distribute them to those in need.

WOMEN

Thanks to God, the sisters attended the bimonthly women’s meeting which took place in the congregation of Ciudad Juárez, N.L.

DIRECTORY

A directory was given to each of the members, with the goal of communicating with each other by telephone and with visits.  We included the birthdates of each of the brethren for the purpose of wishing each other a happy birthday.

TEENS

Work continues with the teens.  Brother Rolando is in charge of them.

RESULTS

Many great things were achieved this month.  For the first time, all of the brethren of the congregation attended the three days of the campaign and this causes us to be very content.  We all helped from the start of the preparations for the campaign.  Some painted the building, others cleaned, and others laid a concrete floor.  Brother Manuel put the outer coating on the new roof.  The men directed each of the days of the campaign.  The women contributed their own money and prepared and served the food on the last day of the campaign.

In the campaign, we had excellent attendance with 68 people on Saturday the 12th, all the congregation on Sunday the 13th, and 130 people Monday the 14th.

Thanks to God the teens have become involved in the monthly youth gatherings which take place in the Monterrey area.

This last Sunday, we began to care for the babies of the congregation with the goal that the parents can concentrate on the worship.  The sisters are in charge of this activity.

Thank you brothers for all of the help that you give to us.  We hope in God to be able to meet you very soon and above everything to be able to fellowship with you.

All of the congregation sends greetings to you.

                             May God bless you always.
