This company goes by several names and has at least two URLs. One name is
Police Supply Online, another is D. T. Distributors, and yet another is R D T
Distributing. Their URL is www.policesupplyonline.com and
www.dtdistributors.com.
As far as I can tell there is only two people involved David and Kreshia
Thompson(aka
Ms Kreshia Duer). They have several street addresses that are:

With these kind of people who knows for sure what the real address is, it may
be one of the ones above or may not even be here.
They also have several
different email addresses. Six are bogus but I found one real Hotmail
address. They are below:

I placed an order with this company for Benchmade 910SBT Stryker at a price of
$99.25 and $9.95 shipping for a total cost of $109.20. They charged my credit
card $115.88 without even notifying me. The next day I noticed the discrepancy
I tried emailing for an explanation. After trying six different email addresses
listed on their web site, five of which were bogus and came back undeliverable,
I finally got a reply back five days later from the one good address. They said
they had to have the item dropped shipped and that was the extra cost but that
almost doubles the shipping cost. I then told them if they couldn't honor the
original order (contact) for $109.20 they were to cancel the order. I received
a reply back saying that they would credit the $115.88 less a 15% restocking
fee for returned item and that information is on their web site. I then told
them that I couldn't accept that and basically was told too bad so sad. The
information they talk about is hidden on their privacy policy page where most
people will never see it. I shouldn't have to pay a fee for a returned item
that was never shipped therefore never returned.
I know they lied about having to drop ship because the Benchmade web site has
real time stock reports and this knife was discontinued. Benchmade suggested I
try to find it from a dealer that had one so in stock. I was hoping Police
Supply Online had one in stock but instead I got RIPPED OFF.
This company is hosted by Yahoo which handles their orders but don't count on
the Yahoo! Complaint Resolution Process for the Buyer Protection Program. It is
a joke and they were no help at all. It seemed like Yahoo didn't care about
this company taking advantage of their customers and only wanted to collect the
hosting charge.
I'm not the first person they ripped off. They have an unsatisfactory rating at
the BBB and I found other complaints online (below are the links).

From now on I will always check out online businesses at the
BBB web site
before buying and I suggest y'all folks do the same!

You can also file a complaint with the state, both the state you live in and
the state where the company is located. Look for the Consumer Protection
Division or Division of Consumer Affairs of that state. This may take some time
and effort but don't give up. Companies like this prey on people that give up
and just let it go. If everybody spoke up this type of deceptive business
practises wouldn't be tolerated and would disappear. Don't let them get away
with it!!
Well after 3 months and seven complaints filed I finally got the credit I
wanted. What is a shame is there seems to be no real way to stop companies from
taking advantage of people like this company. People that don't have the time
and energy (like myself) to file complaints just let it go. That is what
companies like this count on so they continue ripping off people. By law the
BBB and other complaint centers can't make them do the right thing and as far
as I can tell federal or state goverment can't either. The only reason I
succeeded was that I used my Visa card and the credit card company was able to
give me satifaction. If you sent the company a check or money order you would
just be out of luck and would loose your money with no good way to recover.
