Welcome from rural Chatham County, North Carolina that is unusual and wonderful:

• Nearby are dairy, poultry, goat and beef cattle farms. Just a little farther is one of the finest goat cheese farms in the USA including a bed and breakfast (The Celebrity Dairy).
• North of us about 9 miles is Chapel Hill, North Carolina which is home to the University of North Carolina.
• Next door to Chapel Hill is Carrboro, North Carolina where you find the Cat's Cradle, home to great musical innovation.
• Northeast of us about 20 miles is Durham, North Carolina which is home to Duke University.
• East of us about 25 miles is the capital -- Raleigh, North Carolina which is home to North Carolina State University.
• In between Chapel Hill, Durham and Raleigh is the Research Triangle Park containing many companies including the IBM Corporation.
• South of us about 9 miles is Pittsboro, North Carolina which is the county seat of Chatham County. Chatham County is one of the largest counties in NC, mostly rural, and without a single movie theater.
