Turkish Blitz Rules

This event will use traditional Turkish or Middle-Eastern coffee house backgammon rules:

1. No doubling cube is used. Every game is played to completion unless resigned for a single game or gammon.
2. Backgammons do not count extra; they are scored simply as gammons.
3. To start the match, each player rolls one die. The winner of this roll-off then gets to roll both of his dice for the opening roll. Doublets ARE allowed as the first roll.
4. The opening roll in each subsequent game goes to the winner of the previous game. Again, doublets are allowed as the first roll.
5. Matches will be played to 4 points.
6. All other rules of tournament backgammon still apply.
