Japanese prisoners

Shown are Japanese prisoners (with their captors) taken on Guadalcanal.  Most were astounded at the good treatment and food that they received from the Americans.  Those shown on the top pictures were close to starvation and would have been captured much later than those in the lower picture.  Those on the bottom possibly included Korean workers taken at the capture of Henderson Field.
