The damaged O'Bannon is seen here in a floating dry dock while being prepared for its
    long trip back to the States.  A new temporary bow was put in place but the new bow
ruptured on the trip back and some compartments were flooded.  Damage control
parties were able to repair the break and the ship continued homeward.
