2008 Retreat will be held in Toccoa, GA Nov 10-13

The Quilters Rescue Mission is held each November at the Georgia Baptist Conference Center located on the shore of Lake Louise , just a short distance from Toccoa , Georgia .

The retreat was started in 1991 as a few days away from our daily routine to enjoy the beauty of the north Georgia mountains and the company of other quilters.

Over the years the retreat has grown, now accommodating approximately 200 quilters and offering classes with six teachers. 

Every year two vendors are invited to set up their shops at the retreat.  Other optional activities, such as teacher demonstrations and a quilter’s flea market are available in the evenings. 

The Conference Center offers hotel style accommodations, each room having two double beds and a private bath.  A limited number of rooms are handicapped accessible.  All meals are provided by the Conference Center .

The classes are held in the same hotel building as the sleeping accommodations.  So whether you like to sew late into the night, or get up before the sun, you are never far from your quilting. 

The Quilters Rescue Mission is designed to give you time away from your daily routine to share your craft with friends, old and new.  Please consider joining us.  The north Georgia mountains are waiting to welcome you.
