Susan started quilting in 1981 and is well known for her award winning pieces. Her specialty is folk art lavished with embroidery, embellishments and beading. Susan has designed quilt patterns and kits for national fabric stores and has her own line of unique patterns. CLASS
TITLE – Once Upon a Time TECHNIQUE – Machine and Hand Techniques
CLASS DESCRIPTION - Write your own story in fabric! Create your special little fabric book with all the embellishing and creativity you can stitch. There will be machine stitching, hand embroidery, beading, rubber stamping, photo transfer, and your own found objects along with laces, yarns and trim for the finish. Each little page will be constructed on a base fabric for stability. Lots of fun trim techniques will be discussed. Bring your imagination and all of those tidbits you have been saving. We’ll put them all together and create your own little story.
