[We've got another new address for you to bookmark!]

Yeah, I know, you just got used to the new incredibly complicated address for the website.  Well, I'm happy to report we're moving again — sort of

  Our new address is:

This address will redirect you to whatever site we happen to be using this month.  See?  I do listen to you people.  Sometimes. :o)

If your ISP's servers haven't updated yet you can access the site through the http://go.to/abmp shortcut, which will also be updated as we transition to another server.  Keep in mind, however, that this service inserts adverts on the top of the webpage.

In addition to the new web address, we also have a new e-mail address (webmaster@almediapage.info) and a new blog.

Welcome!

Welcome to the Alabama Broadcast Media Page. Thanks to many contributions, this is the web's most up to date and comprehensive listing of Alabama radio and television stations.

The history sections for many of the radio and TV stations in the state have been constantly expanding recently thanks to the help of fine folk like Alex Bowab, Stray Kats, Major Logan and Tom from Huntsville. There's always room for your tidbits and trivia -- so send them in to webmaster@almediapage.info...

Also, your contributions are important in keeping up with the changing technologies in broadcast media. If you have any updates regarding digital radio, high definition or digital television programming, RDS feeds on FM or stations broadcasting in AM stereo, please e-mail me at webmaster@almediapage.info

I no longer live in Alabama, your contributions and corrections are more important than ever!

Mobile - Lists stations all along the Gulf Coast:  the Mobile-Pensacola and Biloxi markets are included, as are some other stations which put a signal into all or parts of the coastal area.

Columbus - Lists most stations that put a good signal into the area, which includes Phenix City, Alabama.

New DTV stations can actually broadcast multiple feeds within one "channel", allowing them to offer more programming choices for viewers. They can also offer high definition programming in a 16:9 widescreen format similar to a movie theater screen's aspect radio.

RDS Stations -A listing of the many FM stations that can be received in the state of Alabama which provide an Radio Data System (RDS) signal. The signal can provide your radio with the correct time, station format, station ID, and additional scrolling text.

Media Links - Various links to sites that help you find information about radio and TV stations; includes links to the official FCC search pages.
