After looking up your birthday in the Mayan calendar, Clare will write
out your personal Soul Path Astrology chart, which includes extensive
information on your personal number and Daykeeper (glyph/galactic guide). Also
in the chart will be your Mayan Medicine Wheel, which shows your spiritual
helpers in each of the four galactic directions. When you call for your

This Mayan Medicine
Wheel is from a Soul Path Astrology chart done for a person born on the Mayan
day of 4 Lamat (Gregorian date April 6, 1964). Lamat is the name of the glyph
in the middle of the wheel and is her personal Mayan Daykeeper or galactic
guide. Her written chart included several pages of key information about her
personal soul energies - gifts, strong points, useful techniques for personal
growth and challenges that might come up on her life path. Her personal Mayan
Medicine Wheel (shown above) shares her galactic/spiritual helpers and guides
that stand in each of the four cosmic directions. The reading lasted one and
one-half hours and was taped for her to have along with the written chart. Here
are a few sample questions she asked, to give you an idea of the type of
information that can be covered in a reading - although each person and each
chart is highly individual, as I get a lot of guidance from the Mayan
Daykeepers for each person specifically.
Q: I am thinking about going into a management
position. Would that be good?
A: The Daykeepers feel there are not any right or wrong jobs for
different soul energies. Much of the decision is based on what you love to do.
However, Soul Path Astrology does address your soul gifts and soul path, so it
can give you an idea of your soul resonance with any specific activity. This
can help you make a decision that will empower your soul and your purpose in
being here.
Your
birth Daykeeper is Lamat, the star. Lamat has a great ability to harmonize.
Lamat people can blend many different ideas and energies into a nice, balanced
whole. So, your soul would be very at home with the team building part of being
a manager. You should be able to be a good mediator when differences arise.
Also you could easily take many different ideas, energies and personality
styles and blend them into a powerful, united team. Lamat has a tremendous
ability to keep many details in their mind at once, while still keeping in
touch with the wholeness of the situation. So you would not tend to get lost in
the details and would probably be very good at delegating and organizing to get
things done efficiently. As a Lamat, you would tend to have a very harmonious
energy that would help to hold the group together and keep the workers happy
about working together, working for the company, and working with you.
Your
birthday is also on a number four day. Four is about the place in our creative
process where our plan becomes complete, where we put that plan into its final
form. So fours do well planning, getting plans completed, gathering materials
and getting things ready to go into the manifestation process. Obviously that
is a skill a manager should have.
There
are areas I would say would be challenging for you in management. Lamat people
love harmony so much that they tend to give in on their own perspective, ideas
and beliefs in order to keep the peace. Unless you have mastered this
particular challenge of Lamat, you might have a great deal of difficulty being
able to hold your own. You might tend to be overly influenced by the other
people in your work group, especially if any of them was a very strong
personality. You might not even be sure what you wanted, because Lamat energy
tends to meld, merge and become one with others. That is why Lamat people are
good mediators, because they can see everyone else’s position very well. But
sometimes it makes it very hard for them to know their own position. The key
for you in dealing with this challenge would be for you to practice delegating
and sharing the responsibility. You are not the type of leader who could easily
take charge and run everything; i.e. you would not do well in a hierarchical
type management situation. You would do well in a group where the team is
important, where your motivational skills and your ability to harmonize diverse
talents into an integrated whole would be used. You could help everyone feel
useful by finding his or her part to contribute to the whole plan. This is a
higher form of management anyway and your soul gifts could be an excellent
model and catalyst to create this type of group.
In
your Mayan Medicine Wheel, your opposite is Etznab, the mirror. Etznab is about
clear, sharp discrimination and cutting through illusions. So, as a Lamat, you
may find it hard to discriminate about people you might want to hire or people
working for you. It might be very hard for you to see their shortcomings or
limitations. So it might be good for you to have someone in your group, who you
can trust, who could be the discrimination person. This person would help you
by seeing clearly into the core essence of other people and knowing what their
strengths and weaknesses are. This would help you know where to place them or
how to use them best. Lamat people are also not initiators. They are in the
Yellow Ripening kin and the Blood Clan and they also have Ben, the Skywalker,
in their veiled position. This makes them good at preserving and holding things
so they can stay steady and ongoing. So in general, it can be hard for you to
be the creative initiator or to come up with radical new ways to perceive or do
things. Because of this, it would also be good for you to have a creative,
think-tank type of person in your team. This person would be the one who would
be constantly coming up with new ideas and who would be able to shift
perspectives easily to see things in radically different ways. Having these two
helpers in your team would be a way to fill in the management skills that are
more challenging or hidden for you at a soul level. This would free you to do
the things you do best and would make a management job much easier and more enjoyable
for you.
Q: My partner and I can not seem to communicate. Should
I stay with him?
A: Your Cosmic Mayan Daykeepers will not tell you what you
should or should not do about relationships. Also, without the Soul Path Astrology
chart of your partner, we can not do an actual relationship reading. But what
we can focus on in answer to your question is what are your needs in
relationship? What qualities in a partner would serve you? I think this will be
useful in making your decision because you can take a look at your partner to
see if he has those soul qualities. You can see if you feel that he can provide
them for you. If he can not, then your soul needs in relationship will not be
met by being with him and you might consider moving on. If he does have those
qualities, then I would say to stick with it even if there are personality
level challenges. This is because on a soul level he can feed you, nurture you
and support you in the way you need.
So
to answer the question about what are your soul needs in relationship, there
are two parts to the answer. One is your basic soul energy of Lamat. For Lamat
people, the most important thing is harmony. They need to have a harmonious
blending of different things into beneficial combinations and
interconnectedness. They are very unhappy when there are any disharmonies and
have a difficult time with this. So you want to be with someone who flows in
harmony with you and who enjoys that. Some people grow better with challenges
and difficult situations, but for you harmony will support you to be more who
you are. Harmony will allow you to open and be your full self. Therefore, the
amount of harmony and smooth flow with your partner is one important gauge of
the resonance of your souls.
Besides
your birth Daykeeper, another very important part of the chart to look at for
relationship information is your supporting Daykeeper. This gives you an
indication of what supports you. Accessing your supporting energy helps keep
your emotions in balance and your body healthy. Your supporting Daykeeper is
Chuen, the monkey. Chuen is about your inner child – about being full of wonder
and joy, spontaneity and innocence. Chuen asks you to play and just delight in
the world. Some of your major needs in relationship will be humor, fun and
play. The ideal partner for you would not necessarily be someone you work with,
but someone you can play with. A partner who can help you relax and forget
about work and serious things would support you. Humor is an important aspect
of your supporting also. It helps prevent you from being overly serious, which
can happen to Lamat people. Chuen as your supporting points to a partner with a
good sense of humor. He could get you to laugh at yourself, which is one of the
best ways to keep life in perspective and break old boundaries. Finally,
artistry is another quality of Chuen people. This supports you because Lamat
people love beauty and need to have it in their surroundings and their life.
You may find yourself drawn to a man who has his feminine side balanced enough
to bring out his artistry. He may actually be an artist or musician, but not
necessarily. His artistic side will create the beauty that feeds you and makes
you feel supported and happy.
These,
then, are some key things you should look for to support yourself and find
fulfillment in relationship. If your partner provides those, then even if there
are some challenges, it might be good to go with it. If these soul qualities do
not describe your partner – maybe he is very serious, is not a harmonious
people-kind-of person or does not have a sense of beauty and artistry about
life – then this may be primarily a learning relationship. I would then ask
Kan, your guide, whether you have learned all you need to in this relationship
and whether it is time to move on. Lamat people often draw to themselves
lessons of disharmony, it is one of the challenges of the Lamat path. But if
you, as a Lamat, stay a long time in a disharmonious situation, it will shut
down your soul energy and disempower you. So if this seems to be primarily a
learning relationship and there is really constant disharmony, do not stay in
that type of relationship too long. Otherwise, your own soul energies will not
get a chance to blossom and you will not grow to be all you can be.
