Adult Day Care
Why Adult Day Care?
Adult day care provides an organized program of activities for adults who need supervision. Not only does day care give the caregiver a “time out” from care giving, but it provides stimulating activities in a safe, comfortable, home-like atmosphere, thus alleviating isolation and providing an opportunity for socialization. It’s been proven that those with Alzheimer’s/dementia who participate in regularly structured activities fare better than those who remain isolated.Special events such as holiday and birthday celebrations are regularly scheduled.

Like the day care program, the only eligibility requirement is a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s/dementia.
