Ingredients
1 1/4 cup Flour |

Instructions Stir together flour and salt. Cut in shortening until lumps are the size of small peas. Sprinkle one tablespoon of water over part of the mixture, toss gently with a fork and move to one side; repeat with up to 3 more tablespoons of water. Form dough into a ball. Do not over-handle the dough or it will become tough. Roll out to desired dimension. For double crust, use 2 cups flour, 1 teaspoon salt, 2/3 cup lard, 6-7 tablespoons of water, and form 2 balls.
