Product Definition -- The right method for the right situation.

I. Traditional. This is a fully detailed drawing. This is required when a 3D model is not used as part of the product definition data set.

II. CAD Model Only. This is provided as a service when further definition is not required such as for rapid prototype fabrication or when further definition will be provided by the client.

III. The CAD model together with the associated, simplified drawing. This is a time saving technique first standardized by ASME Y14.41. Our service provides a non-annotated CAD model along with a simple drawing for complete and clear product definition.

IV. A refined version of type III., with supplemental annotations on the drawing. The annotation draws attention to key product characteristics. Effects of deviations are made clear. Analogy: A team-derived DFMEA/Drawing/CAD data package -- in simple format so that it is actually used! Put this proven method to work!
