The half marathon course will start and finish in downtown Chattanooga at Finley Stadium, home of the NCAA Division 1-AA Football Championship game.

From there it will run towards the river and business district along Riverside Drive and then along the Tennessee River via Amnicola Highway.

After turning around, the course will run back along the scenic Tennessee Riverwalk for 4 miles, passing marshes, river views and wildlife sanctuaries. Runners will then continue through the historic Bluff District and past the Hunter Museum.

The course then heads over the Walnut Street Pedestrian Bridge, the longest pedestrian bridge in the world, and enters the North Chattanooga neighborhood district. After passing the local shops and restaurants on Frazier Avenue, the route crosses back over the river on the Veterans Bridge.

The course continues past Ross’ Landing and the Tennessee Aquarium towards the finish and the First Tennessee Pavilion, home of Chattanooga’s Farmers market.
