We breed for good horn size and shape, parasite resistance, slick shedding, overall hardiness and great color. We believe you can have a very low maintenance animal that will keep your place looking good and look great while doing it! Blackbelly sheep are reported to be extremely tasty and the rams make great trophies. These sheep do not require extensive fencing to "keep up". Once the sheep learn your boundaries..... THEY DON'T WANT OUT! We do not worm our sheep, our philosophy is "survival of the fittest" and it has worked out very well. Avoiding overcrowding is the key to worm control in our sheep. Weeds, briars, poison ivy, kudzu?, you name it... they eat it.
We occasionally have rams and ewes for sale, usually in late spring.
