Miss Kitty

Miss Kitty was our first true indoor cat. She was one of the barn cats nearby. In 1997 she came up and met us as we were coming home. Miss Kitty was pitifully thin and was also pregnant at the time. She was so young she lost the litter. We had her spayed and then we eventually brought her inside when we saw how dangerous it was for her being outdoors. The other cats here can thank our Miss Kitty for making us aware that our furkids really do have healthier and happier lives when they are kept inside.

She is the queen here, though she has had to acclimate to the 'new girl on the block' Luvey moving in. Miss Kitty basically ignores Luvey but she keeps the other guys here in line with an occasional swat when they forget their place.
