This AutoIt3 Scripts Library is a collection of AutoIt version 3 scripts
designed to perform various Windows tasks and distributed by
CadToolChest FREE.
Note: The executable versions (.EXE files) of a Script are self-contained
and do not require AutoIt3 to be installed. The source files (.AU3 files)
require AutoIt to be installed in order to run them without compiling,
or to compile them into self contained executables.
Links to the AutoIt3 and associated web sites, are provided
below the Script Library table.

AutoIt Version 3 Web Sites
AutoIt version 3 is a powerful, easy to use, scripting language designed
to automate nearly any Windows task you can imagine, including automating tasks in other programs such as AutoCAD, MS Word, Excel, etc. It is very popular,
has been around for many years, and is absolutely FREE for both commercial
and non-commercial use. AutoIt does not have
to be installed unless you intend to revise or create your own scripts, or
if an uncompiled script (a .AU3 file) is to be run.

The Beta AutoIt 3 site is HERE.
Check it every week (or even daily) if you want to stay up to date.
Don't let the "Beta" status worry you as it has historically been very stable and
is chiefly used to introduce new features prior to a "formal" release. Both the
formal release and the beta can be installed and co-exist nicely.
You can use any text editor you prefer to create an AutoIt 3 script,
but in my opinion the best editor for AutoIt 3 is Scite4AutoIt3. It is the
Scite text editor modified specifically for AutoIt 3.
It too is free, for both commercial and not-commercial use. You can get it HERE.
And there is a very popular AutoIt Forum
where you can learn, ask for help, and share your ideas and scripts with the world. It's free to all, although you must register (for free) to make posts.
